Ma première commande !! This was my first 'order'!
Ma petite soeur m'a demandé un petit cartable pour la crèche, pour son bout'chou de 11 mois, la jolie Sara :

And as a present for her name day, I added a bib with her initial (also designed by me), made in ivory terry cloth and Cordelia Liberty, to match the schoolbag:

Fin d'année scolaire
Non, elle n'est pas déjà terminée ! Mais j'avais oublié de vous montrer ce que j'avais réalisé pour l'une des maîtresses de mes anges,début juillet : un sac blanc et turquoise avec son petit porte-clé poisson assorti.

Rentrée scolaire
Je vous rassure, c'était bien au début du mois !
Pour mon ange n°2 qui est entrée en Moyenne Section, j'ai sorti ma machine des cartons pour lui faire une nouvelle blouse, sans manches (puisqu'il fait encore beau ici !), issue de ce livre japonais :
Schoolyear beginning
It was two weeks ago for us France, and I did some sewing for my angel #2: a new sleeveless apron (it's still warm here!), from this Japanese book:

J'ai utilisé un coton rose à petits carreaux blancs un peu épais (Toto) et j'ai simplifié le modèle en oubliant les parmentures au profit de biais blanc.
I used a pink cotton with tiny white squares and white bias.

Archi-terminé !
Ma longue absence du blog au mois d'août était dûe à notre déménagement ! Nous avons quitté la région parisienne pour... Toulouse, la Ville Rose !
Les anges n°1 et 2 sont rentrées hier dans leur nouvelle école, où nous avons été très bien accueillis. L'année scolaire commence bien.
J'ai (enfin !) pu terminer mon Archibald pour la Ronde des Tuniques. En voici un petit aperçu, en attendant le jour J :
My long absence in August was due to our moving from the Paris area to Toulouse, the 'Pink City' in the South of France!
Angels #1 and #2 have started in their new school yesterday, where we've had a very warm welcome. Nice beginning of the schoolyear.
At last I have found the time to finish sewing the Archibald model for the Smock Challenge. Here's a little glimpse until the D-Day on September 25th:
